frequently asked questions

1. Will TPH still continue its operations for Fall 2020?

Answer: Yes! We will continue to hold meetings and events for the Fall 2020 semester. However, all operations will be held virtually via Zoom to maintain social distancing guidelines mandated by the university and public health authorities. You can join our mailing list to receive the Zoom links by filling out this form!

2. What are the requirements to remain active?

Answer: We have changed the requirements necessary to maintain active status for the semester. Here are the changes:

  1. Dues will no longer be required for the semester. You can choose to donate to a public health-related organization as an alternative to help the fight against the ongoing pandemic!

  2. Only 6 volunteering points will be necessary for the Fall 2020 semester. We will offer different means of volunteering so that you can reach this requirement!

  3. Four social points are still necessary to maintain active status, but we will provide numerous opportunities to meet this requirement as well.

  4. Fundraising points are no longer a requirement for this semester.

3. how will tph-held events be affected this semester?

Answer: We typically host events during fall semesters to celebrate the School of Human Ecology, most notably the SoHE Lectureship Series. As of now, we are coming up with a virtual alternative, and we will share the details once we know what that will look like.
