Heart Walk on 2/11/2020 from 10:00AM to 10:30AM at Littlefield Patio Cafe and Cypress Bend Cafe.
After you sign up, you will receive an email from either me (Kennedy) or Angela Zieba (firstname.lastname@example.org) with more information/instructions for this event. She hopes to have AT LEAST 3 volunteers at each location (6 total).

The Alzheimer's Association is an organization whose mission is to eradicate Alzheimer's disease. They host many different events in Austin, including an Alzheimer's walk, and they need volunteers! Sign up to be notified of volunteer opportunities through the link below:
Kind Clinic is an Austin sexual wellness clinic that offers free services generally marketed towards members of LGBTQ+ community. There are tons of opportunities through which to volunteer for them, including volunteering at sexual wellness talks and drag shows! Serafina Bread Pantry
Several opportunities at the Serafina Bread Pantry! Help out at the food pantry with setup/cleanup, food distribution, and organizing clients. Additionally, Serafina needs volunteers to maintain their plot at the Festival Beach Community Garden - watering and weeding, planting, taking harvest to the pantry, and helping clean up accessibility areas. If you’re interested in, or have a background in social media presence, Serafina also needs volunteers to provide and input content on their website and social media accounts.
Food pantry: M-Th 3:30-5pm; F 9-11am; and Sa 10:30am-12pm.

The UT Outpost provides nutritional services to UT students, no questions asked. To volunteer at the UT Outpost, you can contact them through these ways:

Blunn Creek Nature Preserve
Workday at Blunn Creek Nature Preserve First Saturday of each month, restoring the Blunn Creek preserve. Volunteers will cut ligustrum and stack them for chipping.

Serve as a canteen host, or a transportation/blood drive/office support volunteer. See website for more information about positions. Volunteers need to fill out an application and attend orientation.

UT Farm to Work
Shifts: Wednesdays, 11:15am-12:20 PM in front of SSB on Dean Keeton
Through the FTW program, the SFC is connecting UT Austin to local farmers to provide fresh, local produce to students, faculty, and staff every week. Volunteers help set up tables, unload the produce from the farmer’s van, check participants off the list as they come to pick up their produce, make reminder phone calls to anyone who has not shown up, and help clean up.

Volunteers will work at the farm and help support the Microfarm's mission of being an educational community resource! In addition to performing farm tasks, volunteers will also get to discuss issues relating to the quality, justice, and biology of food.
