Public Health Intervention/Skill Building Workshop

The Public Health Intervention Workshop will consist of an ethics presentation, discussion, and activity. We will learn about public health principles, what happens during disasters, and how vaccines are developed!

Movie Screening + Blood Drive (with Texas Blood Brigade)

Our movie screening night will feature "And The Band Played On", a docudrama about the sudden outbreak of deaths among gay men in urban areas, as well as discussion on how the movie connects to public health concepts. We will also be having a blood drive with the help of Texas Blood Brigade, in which you can either donate blood or volunteer to help out at the donation site.

Join us for a night of a Family Feud style Public Health Game Show! We will have teams working together to come up with answers to public health related questions, and the winning team will receive a special prize!
